I've been using this tropical print crossbody bag from ASOS for most of the moving festivities throughout the past few weeks, and I thought today I would show you guys what I carry around in it.

Kate Spade wallet - Christmas pressie from the BF and I love it! It still looks new, even though it goes everywhere with me and gets tossed around more than its fair share.

Banana cozy - Because a girl's gotta eat and bananas are awesome. This handmade cutie from 9th & Elm offers just the right amount of cushion to keep my snack non-bruisey.

Sunnies - Classic RayBan Wayfarers, my go-to pair that y'all see me wear all the time. They have definitely been worth the investment!

Pen - Sometimes I have to write stuff, and when I do, this comes in handy. Also, I look like a hero if someone else needs to borrow a pen and I happen to have one to lend.

iPhone and leopard print case - I don't go anywhere without my phone, just like everyone else on the planet (that has one, anyway). My case is from 9th & Elm in my favorite print (yay leopard!), and I'm pretty pleased with it so far.

Glasses and case - You know, sometimes I go in stores or something and don't want to look silly by wearing my sunnies inside. I mean, I still wear my sunnies inside most of the time anyway because #yolo (haha, jk), but just in case I want to class things up a bit, I carry these regular specs too.

Assorted makeup-y/beauty things - F21 zippered pouch, leopard mirror, powder, travel kabuki brush thingie, lipstick, concealer, hand cream, travel perfume doodad, mini deodorant, hair ties and clips, etc = vanity. No shame.

Lip balms - And lots of them because I manage to misplace them even within such a small purse. I ordered three flavors from 9th & Elm (pomegranate berry, chocolate cake, and peppermint) and love them all. The chocolate cake one is especially delicious.

Thank you to 9th & Elm for letting me pick a few things from your site to review and carry around with me on the daily! I can't live without 'em. And if y'all are in need of cute handmade and independent designs to give as gifts or fun things to treat yoself a bit (because you deserve it, duh), definitely give 9th & Elm a look.

**Items from 9th & Elm were provided by the company in exchange for review. As always, opinions are 100% honest and totally my own.**

 top // bag // shorts // cuff // shoes

Twas a rainy day for pictures and I had to scurry under a tree to finish them up! What the heck Pennsylvania, why you so rainy during the summer? Totes different from the Texas summers I'm used to, lol. :P How's summer going for y'all?

Super quick outfit post because I'm still insanely busy. First we cleaned out our entire house in Texas so we could leave, and now we're cleaning out the bf's family house up here in PA. It seems like the getting-rid-of-stuff is neverending, but I think we're (hopefully!) on the downhill side of it. Thank goodness for all of the bf's family pulling together and helping us out, otherwise I'd for sure be going crazy by now. Moving sucks, y'all! :P

Just a quick post to catch up on a couple of #summer30x30remix outfits! I've been incredibly busy the last several days, helping to sort things out in the boyfriend's parents' house. And every freaking day I forget to take pics of what I'm wearing until after I'm good and sweaty (gross!), hence the lack of outfit posts. So crazy busy, so bad blogger, so hopefully will be getting back to regular blogging asap.

I'm beginning to notice more and more wrinkles, you guys, and I'm not super thrilled about it. In the past, I've been super lazy about taking care of my skin, usually doing the nightly minimum of makeup remover wipes and slapping on some moisturizer. But as I approached my 32nd birthday last month (wait WHUT), I finally realized that I need to be more proactive about taking care of my face. Below are the products I've been using along with my reviews.

Caudalie Make-up Remover Cleansing Water - This does a good job of getting all my makeup off and is the only makeup remover I've tried that doesn't leave my skin super taut and dry (these wipes were the absolute worst). Anyway, I'm pretty pleased with the Caudalie remover and will be repurchasing soon since I've almost finished it.

Biore Deep Pore Charcoal Cleanser - I like this cleanser because it tingles and makes my skin feel really clean. It claims to deep clean pores and it definitely works as my pores appear increasingly clearer and smaller in appearance. However, it is a bit drying, so I alternate it with the Embryolisse one below.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Moussant - I love this cleanser and have almost finished my bottle. It feels luxurious and rich on the skin, and does an excellent job of moisturizing. My combination/oily skin responds really well to the formula and I will be buying it again soon.

Olay Regenerist Night Resurfacing Elixir - This serum has antioxidants, moisturizers, and glycolic acid that helps with exfoliation. It's a serum type formula that sinks into my skin super fast, but doesn't leave me greasy (something I watch out for with my skin type). I sometimes get kinda flaky on my nose, cheeks, and a little bit on my forehead, but when I use this consistently, those problems clear up nicely.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream - I have really enjoyed using this retinol wrinkle cream. It goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly, and I've noticed that it has helped with my baby crows feet and the little lines under my eyes and between my eyebrows. I've only been using it for a month or so, so I'm looking forward to seeing how those areas continue to improve.

L'Oreal Revitalift Miracle Blur Eye Smoother - A dedicated eye product because I can't handle this eye wrinkle shiz, y'all. The formula is smooth and not greasy, and I notice that my undereyes do appear a bit smoother/brighter after applying. I also like that this one has a metal tip that soothes and helps to de-puff things a bit.

Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate - My ultimate moisturizer! The consistency is between a lotion and a cream, and it sinks into my skin beautifully. It's really hydrating, feels fancy (because French, duh) and I highly recommend trying it if you're looking for a moisturizer that doesn't leave you feeling greasy.

Overall, I'm pretty happy to have finally found a skincare regimen that helps my wacky skin and doesn't break me out or turn me into a greaseball or dry me out like I'm rocking my own personal face desert. Granted, sometimes I'm still lazy and just wash/moisturize, but I'm trying to make a conscious effort with the anti-aging stuff. It definitely helps to see results, so it's becoming easier!

Btw, I need some suggestions from my fellow combo/oily skin babes! I'm still looking for a good, super light daytime moisturizer with SPF that I can use in the morning, and possibly some sort of face mask or something that I can use weekly as a treat. Thanks in advance! :)

sunnies // necklace // top // dress (as skirt) // bag // sandals

Not much to say today, other than it's hot as heck out and I can't put my hair up high enough on my head. Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to heading west and away from the crazy humidity here in PA! How do you deal with the heat, you guys? I've definitely become more of a hermit the past few days that not even the thought of Wawa mac n' cheese can entice me to leave the air conditioning. And that is truly sad because Wawa mac n' cheese should be a no-brainer. :P

sunnies // top // shorts // bag // cuff (selfmade) // sandals

These ASOS Curve shorts, you guys. They are pretty much the perfect shorts. I'm so SO glad that I jumped on them early in the season and scooped them up in different colors and patterns. (Outfits so far here and here). Anyway, they are almost sold out (although a few floral and black options are still available) so hop to it if you want a pair of your own!

I made a new friend, y'all! Or rather, my boyfriend did. Isn't this little bunny just the cutest?! She (he?) must live around here somewhere, because it's not the first time we've seen her. And usually she just runs (hops) away, but today was too busy grooming to notice El Boyfriendo sneaking up to take her picture. Maybe she just wanted to take outfit pictures, too? Well here ya go my fabulous lil' friend, welcome to the fashun internetz. :D

sunnies // earrings // top (from Hanna) // dress // shoes // bag

Only a few pictures to post and let me just go ahead and apologize for the lack of diversity between them. I was outside for only a couple of minutes, happily snap-snap-snapping away, before it started to rain on me. The humidity here in Philly is no joke, you guys. I'm half convinced it wasn't even actually rain, just the moisture in the air getting an attitude. What. Evs.

YOU GUYS. If you follow me on Instagram, you know this already, but I got to meet Jess of Animated Cardigan! My family and I were on our #danidoesmerka from Dallas to up here in Philly, and we happened to make our way through Jess' hood, so we did a mini meet up and it was awesome. We got pizza and drinks (I chose cider because #yum), and Jess got to meet my guys. They bonded over curling and wigs. :D Overall, I would say it was a totes success (even if I was a bit shy/tired) and I hope we can hang out again sometime! PLUS I gave her the rest of my closet clearout stuff, so you'll have to go over to her blog and see how she wears some of them. I'm excited to see what she comes up with! This one is already a favorite.

Anyway, like a dumdum I forgot to take outfit pics that day and the IG above isn't super clear (stupid night pictures), but I still wanted to share it so I recreated it for you guys. I've had this dress for a few years now and I love it, but it seems whenever I wash it, it shrinks up and gets a tiny bit shorter every time. There used to be a day when it was a legit dress, but now it's more of a tunic. Don'tcha just hate that? I don't know if I should blame the dress or my inability to follow clothing care instructions. :P

 sunnies // top // shorts // bag // shoes

Not a super fashion-y outfit, but I had to share it because I love this top. It looks like a basic t-shirt, but BUT the black patterning on the front is actually a semi-opaque mesh! I wish it captured better in the photos above because it's a cool little detail that I really love. I don't really wear much sheer stuff (without a cami layered underneath, anyway), but this an easy way to wear the trend without feeling out of my comfort zone.
