I was recently given the chance to review another item from Yours Clothing and I wanted to try something that I'd never really worn before. I've seen Hanna and other bloggers rock these kinds of high-low/longline tops, so I thought I'd give it a go, even though I wasn't sure how I would style it. (I chose the coral color because Spring, duh.) When this top arrived, I challenged myself to come up with a few styling options and wanted to share them with you.

Layering the top over a bodycon dress and pairing it with casual accessories for brunch or a day out with friends.

Mixing prints and adding comfy wedges for an afternoon of shopping with the girls or running errands.

Wearing colorful sneaks and basic shorts with this top are perfect for exploring a farmer's market or going to the movies with family.
Adding a pencil skirt, belt, and heels makes for a great girl's night out outfit. For daytime, you could instead swap the clutch and earrings for more work appropriate accessories.

As you can see, this top is a great basic and very versatile. I'm so glad to have it in my wardrobe! Thank you, Yours!

*This top was gifted to me by Yours Clothing for review. All opinions are my own. :)

bracelet: gift from Hanna
boyfriend jeans (similar): Torrid
heels (similar): Zara

Just a quick post to share my favorite top of the moment with you guys. I wear it at least once a week, but its a bit dressier and looks more "put together" than my other favorite, my Star Wars tshirt (although if I'm being honest, I totally wear that one at least once a week too, lol). Fingers crossed that ASOS makes this top again in more colors cuz I fer sure would buy em all. :D

OMG YOU GUYS ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE I'VE BLOGGED. Yikes, what happened!? School crap is what happened. But things are slowing down a bit, and I'm halfway done with my final semester of college! Woot! So hopefully that means I'm able to find more time to post outfits and hang out with y'all and chat about what I'm up to and what you're up to.

 sunnies: RayBan via Zappos
necklace (love this pink version!): JewelMint
jacket: Target
bag: gift from Hanna <3
boots (similar to size 14W): Sole Society

I have to admit, since school started back up, I've been having a bit of a blah style moment. So when Yours Clothing contacted me about picking out a few pieces to review, I took it as an opportunity to get out of my rut of t-shirts, beat-up jeans, and Converse. Granted, I still gravitate towards those things on studio days, but this amazing top and jeggings from Yours has me rethinking that. I love the length and style of this leather-look top (I chose a UK24), and I'm sure the sheer back will be awesome come warmer spring temps.

As for the jeggings, OMG THE JEGGINGS. I feel like I'm becoming a jeggings connoisseur as I always choose them for reviews, lol. ;) These ones are super amazing because they are truly skinny, and don't get saggy after a day of wear. They are definitely long enough, too, even after washing (I picked a UK22 with the 32" inseam). I am totally considering picking up a back-up pair of these jeggings, btw.

Pairing the top and jeggings with my olive contrast sleeve jacket and black booties was a no-brainer. Do you wear leather-look pieces? What else could I pair this shirt with? And what have you been up to in the New Year so far? :D
